- For applications requiring high accuracy, high reliability, and structural integrity.
- Operating temperatures from -320°F to +1,000°F (+1,200°F short term).
- Displacement systems withstand pressures up to 3500 or 5000 psi.
- Dual-coil sensor design effectively minimizes radiation effects.
- Hermetically sealed and laser welded.
- Unaffected by environmental contaminants.

Many options are available to customize a standard system to meet the
exact needs of the application. The most popular are:
Most sensors can handle longer cable lengths, although increasing the
cable length can and will affect some performance specifications.
Shorter than standard cable lengths are also available. Call an applications engineer to discuss your particular requirements.
When passing the cable through a pressure barrier, a weld sleeve can be
added at a location specified by the customer. The weld sleeve allows
for welding the cable in place without welding directly to the hardline
cable sheath. This sleeve can also be used with compression fittings to
prevent crushing the thinner hardline cable sheath.
Standard published ranges are based on meeting a set of performance
specifications. Custom calibrations are possible to meet specific
application needs. Contact a Kaman applications engineer if you desire a
custom calibration.
an aluminum target; ferrous systems will be calibrated with a 4130 steel
target. If your target material is significantly different in conductivity and/or permeability, it may be best to calibrate using the same material as your target.
They are provided with output data at ambient and two additional
temperatures specified by the customer. Linearity optimization is done
at one of these three temperatures, as specified by the customer.

full 19-inch rack, a 3/4 benchtop rack, and a 1/2 benchtop rack.
In harsh locations, up to two channels can be housed in a NEMA enclosure.
